(Nasdaq: TRID – News), a world-wide leader in developing advanced digital TV technology for the consumer digital video marketplace, today announced that Tatung Company, Taiwan's leading consumer electronics manufacturers, selects Trident's SVP EX integrated 10-bit video decoder and processor featuring the Digital Cinema Reality Engine (DCRe™) to power its latest family of LCD TVs for world-wide markets. The new models including 17", 20", and 23", are now shipping with leading consumer electronics brands in Japan and will soon be available in Europe and North America.
