Trident Microsystems Announces Settlement with iGlobe Partners Fund
Sunnyvale, Calif. — November 11, 2003:
Trident Microsystems,
Inc. (NASDAQ: TRID), announced today that Trident Microsystems (Far East) Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Trident Microsystems, Inc. (“Trident”), has retracted all allegations relating to iGlobe Partners Fund, L.P., its affiliates and General Partners that were made in a complaint filed in California Superior Court and a related Trident press release dated April 17, 2003.
“The allegations made against iGlobe Partners Fund, L.P., its affiliates and partners managing the Fund were based on misunderstandings and miscommunications, and are without apparent factual support. We regret any implications to the contrary in our recent actions,” said a Trident spokesperson.
